VAX 8350

VAX 8350

The VAX 8350 is a multi-processor 32-bit minicomputer introduced by DEC in 1987. It is based around a VLSI implimentation of the VAX ISA that consists of five chips in a multi-chip module. The VAX-8350 uses the VAXBI bus as both a system bus & an IO bus. (Higher-end machines in the VAX-8000 line only use VAXBI for IO.) Unibus is also optionally used for slower IO devices.
